On Tuesday we began the day at another wonderful restaurant on the beach. The French toast with Nutella syrup and caramelized bananas and pecans were amazing. The coffee served was Jamaican Blue Mountain which was a serious treat.
We spent another glorious morning at the beach. Their were these huge yellow rings in the ocean that had a mesh bottom...kind of like a big kiddie pool. We had so much fun playing in one of them. The kids sipped lemonade. We said over and over how grateful we are for this experience. We also credited God for the overwhelming beauty He has created. We had lunch at a beach side restaurant, had milkshakes and took naps.
Kyle took these pictures while I was snuggling with the kids in the water. Jed held me silently for the longest time, totally relaxed, while I sang to him. I thought for sure he was going to fall asleep.
The kids did some serious lounging....
Geckos everywhere!
We stopped and got milkshakes at the ice cream truck on the way back to the room. We showered and rested before going to dinner. We ate at a really nice Italian restaurant. The food was wonderful and the presentation of each dish was so beautiful.
We caught the tail end of another Sesame Street performance and walked around a little while. There was a play at the open air theater, The Jungle Book. We had front row seats and the kids were enthralled.
Our fair skinned family was definitely not used to all the sun we were getting....
