Soccer Season

Oh my word....My little #5.....Jed playing soccer was priceless.  He LOVED his soccer shoes and every game was like watching his soccer coach, Katie Williams, try to heard cats.  He was happy to be on the same team with his buddy, Britton and Britton's mom was the coach.
Jed had been longing to get a Gatorade to take to his first official soccer game.  He had seen Evangeline get a Gatorade on occasion when she would have a basketball or softball game, so he thought he needed one too.  Kyle got him one for his first game and all he did was run to the bench to drink it.

In the pictures below he is actually walking through the game as it is being played to have parental assistance with opening his Gatorade.

From this game on we were in charge of holding the drinks for him.

He always had a cheering section from his sister, to his grandma's to his papa who would make the drive all the way from Indy to watch him.

During drink breaks when there was no one on the field Jed made it a habit to kick the ball down the field by himself and make a goal.  People would always cheer for him.

One time he told me that he told someone on the opposing team, "I'm gonna squeeze you like a lemon (wemon) into a pail of water".  I though this was hilarious, but we had to have a little discussion about trash talking people.

He got a medal at the end of the season.  I think his favorite thing was getting snacks at the end of every game though....

Here's his official soccer picture.....Melt. My. Heart.
