Jed's Birthday

Jed was so excited for his actual birthday!  When he rolled over to wake up the morning of his birthday he said to me in a groggy voice and crumpled hair, "Mom, I'm 4".  

Jed had a pile of presents to look forward to after school.

Thermos and lunchbox covered in sharks and planets....

….and the crème de la crème, the dino gun he had been asking for ever since he laid eyes on it in a shop in St. Charles. 

We went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse where Jed got a big Yeeha! 

We came back home for ice cream cake.  This child, my heart, my dream.  What would I ever do without my sweet, funny boy to love....
