Festive Weekend

I took the kids to a Christmas tree farm the other day to check out some greenery.  I didn't know what to expect, but boy was it cute!  Jed didn't know what to think.  Evangeline and I were cracking up at his reaction.  We saw Santa go by on a sleigh on wheels.  Jed stopped in his tracks to wave at him and I heard him say half out loud, half to himself, "be nice EB" like he was reminding himself to be nice to his sister while he was in Santa's presence.

The kids rode on the Rudolph Express, and again, we were cracking up over Jed.  His little head barely sticking up from his train car, bouncing along.  (He's the second reindeer back.)  He had the most serious look on his face the whole time and was clinching the harness.  It was the cutest.  I was grinning from ear to ear....these pictures even make me chuckle out loud.

The only way we could coax Jed back to the car without a scene was with a snowman lollipop.

Later that day Evangeline was in the Holly Day parade.  She rode on our church float.  "Peace, Love, and Jesus".
