I don't know if it was nervous energy or the since of urgency I get at the beginning of summer break where I feel like I have a very short amount of time to get a lot of things in, but whatever the reason I hand washed all of my china on that first day of no school. We also made Irish soda scones and had a tea party. I also thoroughly cleaned and organized the laundry room, did every piece of laundry and washed all of the bedding.

We met my mom in the parking lot of the IGA in West Terre Haute. She had a few things of mine and I had a few things for her. Of course social distancing was just becoming the thing and we were scared to death to get within feet of each other.
