Early March (a.k.a. the last bit of normal)

Weekend piano practice first thing in the morning when the sun is coming through the east windows.....

Jed is such a little jabber jaw.  He has the biggest imagination and will talk nonstop about whatever is in this mind at the time.  He has three imaginary friends at the moment, which he is constantly talking about, Hover (a teenager of 116), Lantern (a friend that is particularly around to cheer him on when he plays sports, but sometimes hangs out with Hover) and a cat named Plag who is small enough to fit into his pocket.  Hover is the one most talked about.  He does everything and is everywhere.  Hover lives quite the life.
Jed is my constant shadow and follows me around all day long telling me ALL the stories.

Naptime after church one day.....

Anther particularly adorable nap.  I lay down with him in our bed until he falls asleep.  Sometimes I fall asleep too, and some days I sneak out, but I always find myself gazing at that sweet little sleeping face....

Evangeline took this picture of my driving to school one morning....the coffee is always in hand.  She also took the one of the sky.

Anther post nap picture.  He is the sweetest when he first wakes up....

We purchased this buffet for our dining room.  I am still amazed that Kyle and I were able to get it out of his trunk and into the house by ourselves.  It weighs a ton.  It was a memorable night too because we were just sitting down to eat dinner in the dinning room when I just happened to see out the window as a car flew down our dead end road and straight into the corn field.  The driver got his car very much stuck in the field.  Kyle went out to check to see if that person was ok.  He was, but had to wait 3 hours in his car for the tow truck.

I love forcing bulbs in the winder months.

Evangeline is definitely Pickle's human.  He is with her always.  Every morning he sits in her chair while she eats breakfast and she is always happy to give him all the room his requires.

Every year we celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America week.  We dress up each day to go along with Dr. Seuss books.  This year Jed got to participate too.  He was flabbergasted by the things he got to wear to school that week.  He had so much fun.

Here we are for crazy hair day.  Peggy did Jed's hair before school and was sure to take pictures for me.  He was so proud of his hairdo....

There was also pajama day.  Jed got to bring a favorite stuffed animal.  Of course he selected Baby Owl and he was set on wearing his robot jammies.

Evangeline has been a member of the 4-H Fiberistas this year.  I've also been asked to teach.  Evangeline has really enjoyed knitting.  We discovered that if you fold over the wonky first knitted patch she made and sew down the edges she has a nice little pouch.  She was so proud of it and all of the group members were very impressed.  She also liked to take her knitting to school to work on during indoor recess.

This was another one of those days when we were leaving for school and I just had to take a picture of her.  She is just so cute.  She loves to wear the knitted fox stole I knitted back before she was even born.
