Jed: I'm a little nervous about Christmas.
Mommy: Why are you nervous?
Jed: Well, I don't like it when my friends get coal.
(I think he was more nervous about himself.)
And a few days latter......
Jed: Oh what's wrong with me? I'm trying to be good for Santa but I just can't!
Evangeline asked Santa for books about dragons and Jed asked for zombie figures (boy zombies, not girls...he was sure to include those instructions). Jed sat on Santa's lap, placed his order and promptly hoped down.
Evangeline sat and talked with Santa for a little while, still with those same adoring eyes she has always had when talking to Santa, melting her mama's heart. All the pictures of a moment I never want to forget.
