Evangeline on her way to her chorus Christmas program......I'm so proud of my musical little girl.
Both Jed and Evangeline were in the church Christmas pageant this year. Evangeline had a speaking part and Jed was a wise man.
Jed as a wise man...oh my word.... he refused to wear his cloak and when the reader got to the part about the three wise men entering the scene only two showed up and they weren't Jed. Finally he appeared and when he showed up he was doing this really theatrical "talking" with no sound to the pastor. Then the pastor started doing it back. It was the strangest thing. I have no idea what was going on in his head.
Here is a picture of him doing his "talking" that someone took on the other side of the church. Everyone that could see him was laughing. It was hilarious and strange all wrapped up into one Jed sized package....the rouge wise man.
Evangeline had another concert for band. At the end I told her how well she did on her flute and she said she couldn't make one sound come out, but at least she had all of her fingers in the right place. She at least looked like she nailed it.
She played The First Noel and Fiesta de Seville at her piano recital and did a marvelous job despite being very nervous. I am constantly impressed by her drive and determination at the piano. She is really good.

Her piano teacher, Mrs. Jan is wonderful.
