Kristen invited us for an impromptu visit to the Indianapolis Children's Museum and we jumped at the chance. Jed had never been yet and I knew he would enjoy it as much as Evangeline does. We all had so much fun. A special highlight was the fact that Ryan White's mother just happened to be there in Ryan's room at the museum giving a talk about their experience. It was an amazing opportunity. Jed was an angel during the whole 40 minute presentation. He must have sensed the gravity of the presentation.
Jed was absolutely obsessed with Han Solo frozen in carbonite. He could not stop talking about it...even for weeks after.
And I absolutely could not tear him away from the olive oil factory simulator. This was seriously the ultimate experience for him. It was all he wanted to do after doing it once. He could have spent the whole day "making" olive oil if I let him. He really thought he was making it and was just so proud about the whole thing. So cute!
Next we went to the outside kids sports complex. We only stayed outside for a few minutes before a torrential downpour came upon us. We had to make a run for it and we were absolutely soaked!
We shut the museum down at the Paw Patrol's exhibit. Jed (and the girls) loved it, but we were all soaked and cold.
Kristen took Jed to the toddler wing while I went with Evangeline to see the ancient Greek artifact rooms. It was an additional fee and the other girls had already seen it, so it was just us two. There were so many amazing things to see. Evangeline also got her face put on a bust of Aristotle.
