We held a big birthday bash here at our house last Sunday for Evangeline, her great-grandma Jody, cousin Stacey and Aunt Cheryl. The weather could not have been more perfect. It was so cool out for August. The weather around Evangeline's birthday has never been so bearable.
Evangeline wanted a Hello Kitty party.
These little jars used to hold coffee and tea in the Company Coffee. Who would have thought they would be used to house party hats, noise makers and treat bags at my daughter's birthday party.
A Hutson celebration never lacks in the gift department. (Good thing these were not all for Evangeline or we would have to add on another room!)
Here's where I document that my house was at one time clean!
She was in her happy place for sure.
The pink lemonade was definitely a special treat. I kept looking over to find Evangeline refilling her cup or suckering someone into doing it for her.
We decided that everything tastes better with a pretty straw.
More documentation of a neat and tidy home.
It was a delicious spread and the best part was that I didn't have to make very much. Everyone brought something to share.
The usable part of our yard is so small, but we packed 'em in. It was cozy and perfect.
The kids had fun with bubbles, chalk and dipping their toes in the water.
Of course, it's her party and she can cry if she wants to.
Family, playing outside, cake, ice cream, lemonade, presents...what a great day!! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family that love to make people feel special on their birthdays (and every other day too).
Happy Birthday Evangeline! We love and miss you!
