After Halloween

Below are some pictures that Jed's teacher posted on her class Facebook page.  The first few were taken on super hero day.

Jed and buddy, Oakley Claypool....

Playing with friends....

Around Halloween I brought a recipe home from the back of one of my children's books from school.  It was a Halloween book called Bone Soup.  It was basically a spookier version of the classic tale, Stone Soup.  I thought the kids would enjoy making it for dinner since the ingredients were called things like, eye of giant (onion), dried flies (red pepper flakes) and you put the soup together as if you were following a potion.  They kids loved making it (more than eating it, since it was, after all, a veggie soup).  Kaiden and Evangeline made cookies for dessert.

Sleeping baby...

Evangeline loves reading time with me at night before bed.....

Danielle sent me these hilarious pictures of Jed one afternoon.  He had on Wesley's Halloween costume and was absolutely obsessed with it.  She said he had it on for a good hour and told her he would take it off at lunch time.  He even road home to Peggy's house in it.  The excitement didn't wear off for weeks about the notion that he could wear this costume when he went to Danielle's house.

An image of fall....

Wayne requested family photos for his 70th birthday present.  This out of focus picture of us was my favorite of the lot.

These are some photos I took of the kids with hopes that one of them would be decent enough for a Christmas card....I'm glad the days of only getting only 24 attempts at a good picture have gone by or we would be in trouble!

I used this one....
