So proud of my little musician. She worked hard at her recorder this year, which is the instrument learned in the 4th grade school music program. Weekly practicing in addition to her piano practice earned her a "black belt" in Recorder Karate. Each time they mastered a song they got earned a new belt on their recorder. She was chosen to play in a special recorder group in the spring recital due to the fact that she was one of the top Recorder Karate belt recipients in her forth grade class.

She is also in the chorus group. They practice once a week during flex time and she loves it. She adores her chorus teacher, Mrs. Wilson.
Jed was super fidgety at the program until he spied Danielle and Jeff Burress sitting in front of us. He crawled onto Jeff's lap and sat there contently for the duration of the program.
