These are the cookies I made for school this year. I am always sure to take a picture of them because they are a pain. They are one of those things in life that I'm always excited to do and half way through the project I'm questioning why in the world I started.
There have sure been some beautiful sunsets lately. I'm always feel so fortunate when I catch a glimpse of one because they sure don't last long and they change so quickly.
Evangeline had a small speaking part in the church Christmas play this year (she was Mary), but she did perform a song with two other boys and it was for sure the most beautiful song in the whole program (and I'm not just saying that).
I was lucky enough to attend part of Evangeline's school Christmas party this year. It just happened to fall at my lunch break so I was able to drive over and have lunch with her. We were both excited. I snapped a picture inside her desk. She had it packed with books and other random things (much like her room) and it was a mess (much like her room). There was even rock with a smiley face on it. I love her.
Evangeline continues to play the piano. She's learning so much. Miss Jane is strict and has high expectations. That's a good thing for Evangeline, I think. Evangeline's had been practicing two Christmas pieces on the piano for a little concert they gave at the local nursing home.
