A few days before Thanksgiving, Kyle broke out the giant teepee for the kids to play in. He moved all the furniture out of the room and the kids (and Kyle) had fun in the teepee.
On Thursday we woke up to the annual viewing of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Evangeline always gets super excited when Santa brings in the Christmas season! Here she is poised with her camera ready to take his picture. Jed loved watching it this year as well.
It was a small, but fun Thanksgiving celebration at the Hutson's. We
ate ate ate and watched football. That evening we went to Peggy's for
more!!
Jed got his bath while I made a persimmon pudding. I just love that Jed in the sink.
Before his bath he kept walking through the kitchen asking to take a bite of the butter. I kept telling him no, but the temptation must have over taken him because sure enough I found a tiny little set of teeth marks in it. What a stinker....
We spent Saturday at the day at the farm.
Evangeline helped her grandpa make the Brussel sprouts and the gravy. I was having lots of flashbacks of Daddy giving me cooking lessons growing up.
Jed and Cale stopped playing just long enough for some persimmon pudding....
And I got to snuggle with this little lump of sugar...
We brought some toys for the boys to have at Grandpa's house. A few of them had never been opened from Jed's birthday. They checked out the toys for about 2 seconds then when back to their favorite things to play with at Grandpa's house...his produce and garden baskets. Here is a picture of the "Squash Brothers" in action...
It was a beautiful day for a walk.
Haha! Every time we try to get a picture of all four of them....lots of laughs!
Lots to be thankful for, indeed.
