A Little Bit of Life

Jed is doing all sorts of tricks nowadays.  He's pats his head when you ask him where his head is.  He points to his belly.  He can find his nose, mama's nose.  He points to everything.  He say "woof" when asked what a doggie says.  He blows kisses.  He shoots his little arms up in the air when we say "touchdown".  He continues to give those big, glorious open mouth baby kisses.  He's really making lots of effort to walk and does more walking than crawling now.

I noticed on September 26 that Jed had a lower, right side molar coming in.  It looked painful.  I've since noticed that some are starting to emerge on the left side too.

Evangeline was Star Student a few weeks back.  Mrs. Cannady allows the Star Student to bring in their pet to share with the class.  Considering we do not have a pet yet, she settled for Jed.  So last Friday during her share time Peggy brought Mr. Jed in for Evangeline to share with the class.  My class just happened to be at Art at that time so I got to be there too.  It was so fun to watch Evangeline have her special time.  Jed was a hit!  The class was thrilled and Evangeline was as proud as could be.  I've heard Mrs. Cannady telling people about Jed coming to visit and mentioning that she's never had someone bring in their baby sibling as their "pet".  She got a kick out of it.

We had a few really hot days at the end of September and Kyle and Evangeline got one last swim in before we closed up the pool.  Brrr...too cold for me!

Mom and Aunt Mary Jo came to watch my kiddos while Kyle and I traveled to Oakland, IL for a dinner theater about one of Abraham Lincolns most important cases.  It was so much fun.

And here is an adorable picture Peggy sent me at work.  She takes Jed to coffee at church and here he is hanging out with "the boys".
