Here and There

Evangeline continues her interest in Asia.  We got my old kimono on one of our latest trips over to the Haute.  It's a little big on her, but boy does she love it.

We've also broken out the Wii from our Carbondale explosion in the garage.  My goodness, watching this girl do a Just Dance video is about the cutest thing in the world.  We also had a karaoke Guitar Hero Beatles addition night with my mom last weekend.

In between our weeks for our White Violet veggies we supplement with the farmers market in Terre Haute, which always includes a trip to Clabber Girl.  Happy place.  Oh and happier still, anytime spent at Dad's house is always happy.  Last weekend we had a little fiesta at Dad's with Zachary and Candice.  Very possibly the last time I will see a pregnant Candice this time around.  She is due very soon!!!

Speaking of little bundles of joy, I got to meet precious little Henry and spend some time with my dear friends, Jessica and Michael.

Last Wednesday Evangeline and I left school at a decent time and went to St. Mary of the Woods to roam around.  Another of my favorite of happy places.  We love to walk on the campus grounds.  There is so much to see and it just makes me feel so good.  It's a wonderful, wonderful place...feeds the soul.  It is my fervent prayer that my daughter continue to grow into the beautiful little spirit she has become.  She is so full of Christian love.  Her questions, statements and prayers are just precious to my heart as we walk here.  There is so much to be learned from her.

To close out this post I leave with a picture of what I found the other night as I went to turn off Evangeline's night light.  No child in her bed.  Where could she be?  Yes, snuggled up in her quilt inside her princess tent.
