Evangeline looks forward to every holiday. I always try to make them extra special for her. She woke up to a scavenger hunt that lead her to a pot of gold (peanut butter cups in a mason jar). The clues were all over the house. She was upstairs and downstairs several times, in the refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. It was fun.
Over the weekend we made Irish soda bread scones and ate them with tea on my grandma Mary's China. Evangeline thought this was very special.
Jed loved Sis' shamrock headband and jumped at the chance to put it on when she was out of the room.
Jed and Pickles...my, my, my. Jed's learning to be gentle...poor Pickles has been the guanine pig for the lessons. That cat has the patience of Job.
But a cat can only take so much.....good thing for Jed Pickles has no claws.
I finally got around to taking a picture of Jed in the sweater I knitted Evangeline several years ago. It's my favorite thing I've ever knitted. Lots of love in every stitch...all for my children.

Ammie took Evangeline to Indy last weekend to meet the cousins and do their annual Easter dress shopping. Kyle and I took Jed to TH to do some shopping for the house. The little dude was a trooper. He was just too cute sitting there in the cart waiting for Daddy to pick out the new hardware for our doors. We met Evangeline and Ammie for dinner when they got back to town. We were all pooped out when we got home.
