Chill in the Air

We get so many deer on the side of the yard, and frequently they make their way into the front yard too.  We love watching the babies grow up each year.

Every blessed morning I wake up with too many people in the bed.  I remind myself that this won't last long and to soak up the days when they want to be with us 24/7.

Morning snuggles with my baby boy....

I had to figure out how to run in the cold weather.  I got a buff which really helps, but Kyle says I look like I just robbed a bank....

Jed loves to make stories up with Evangeline using her stories stones painted by Colleen.

And here is a random leaf that fell from one of my house plants that looks so much like a duck!  I seriously couldn't get over it....

I just love that Evangeline enjoys wearing my old dresses....

The snow and cold came early this year....

Jed was a snotty mess on our first snow day.  Here he is with snot dried up his face and a hot chocolate mustache....

Cozy, cute little boy feet after a nap with his mother....

And this was cracking me up!  He was balled up counting (maybe we were playing hide-and-go-seek) and the two Lego characters were poking out from his pants.  This boy can't keep any pants up around his skinny waist.

We've been going through a Friday night at Moggers phase....Jed found a painted rock at our table this night and it was the highlight of the evening for him....

Evangeline never ceases to amaze me with her kids menu artwork....

Every so often Kyle and I get away for dinner by ourselves.....

My friend from high school, Jessica Thomas, had a little get together in Indy at her new home with several of my friends from jr. high and high school.  It was lots of fun to see everyone.  Kyle and I spent the night at their house.  It was a very nice evening.

One of the last of my flowers to survive the frost.....

Changing Season

This is Jed's first ever behavior chart for school.  He takes this puppy very seriously.  Green is "ready to learn" and blue is "great job".
Ainslee had to do some hours for her nursing degree at North School with Nurse Tina.  That sweet Ainslee had lunch with Evangeline every Friday during her time at North.  Evangeline felt SOOO special.  She looked forward to her lunch with Ainslee every week.

This is me in my weekend finery...I added this picture only because Jed took it and he was ever so proud….

Good old Pickles....

Mrs. Hutson in her 8th year teaching 1st grade.....

I came home from a run one weekend afternoon only to be greeted by two children with no shoes scampering out of the garage with a deer scull looking as proud as could be.  This was their find in the forest for the afternoon.

Kaiden asked me to send him this picture so he could make it his PlayStation wallpaper.

If Jeddy Bear doesn't get his nap in the afternoon at Danielle's or Peggy's, Jeddy Bear gets angry....  Sometimes he crashes while I'm making dinner.

Evangeline was so excited when she decided to get several inches cut off her hair and she was ticked when no one noticed.....

Napping with Jed....I woke up first.

Better Late Than Never

I found a few more pictures I took at one of Jed's soccer games.  The lighting was so pretty.

Here he is running to me with his snack....

Cale and Liam's Birthday Party

We had lots of fun celebrating Cale's 5th birthday and Liam's 2nd birthday.  It was a lovely day at Deming Park.  The kids had such a blast playing on the playground.

Grandpa Walters having fun with his grandkids.....

Birthday boys plus Jed.....

Fall Festival

I started the Fall Festival weekend off with running the Shop With a Cop 5K.  I set a new PR for myself with a time of 28.32.  I was very pleased.

The parade, of course, is always a highlight.  Jed has more and more fun each year.  His sister and cousins were very helpful in his candy gaining efforts.

Kyle is up for reelection this year, which means his sign is proudly displayed on the Republican float...

How much candy can he hold???

Since Evangeline won the art contest last year, she was in the winner's circle this year and ineligible for the contest.  She had her drawing displayed in the window of the gallery and received a few special prizes.

The Sunday of the festival we always make one more little trip around the square to check out the antique cars and maybe get one more treat....I snapped this picture of her because I couldn't believe how grown up she looked....
